We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Network Security Engineer must me Omani Nationality
- Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions to protect against unauthorized access, malware, and other security threats.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Monitor network traffic and security event logs to detect and respond to security incidents promptly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and enforce network security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Stay up to date with the latest network security technologies, emerging threats, and industry best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend security products, tools, and technologies to enhance our security posture.
- Provide technical guidance and support to network administrators and other IT teams regarding network security configurations and best practices.
- Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and recovery from security incidents.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security awareness and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Omani national with relevant work authorization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCNP Security are highly desirable.
- Proven experience in network security engineering roles, preferably within the banking or financial industry.
- Deep understanding of network security principles, protocols, and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, DNS, and network segmentation.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS benchmarks.
- Experience with security assessment tools, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Proficiency in network troubleshooting and analysis tools.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network protocols.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of network security.
