We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HDD Engineer to join our client’s team. As an HDD Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of HDD construction projects. Reporting to the HDD Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with project requirements and international standards while delivering high-quality results. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented professional with a strong background in HDD construction or engineering within the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities:

• Understand contract requirements and develop a comprehensive understanding of HDD construction management practices.
• Independently develop HDD construction procedures based on ESMP, HDD optimum requirements, and international standards.
• Develop detailed HDD construction plans in accordance with company requirements.
• Design HDD temporary construction facilities, including entry and exit site layout, stringing area layout, and drilling rig anchorage, utilizing AutoCAD software.
• Develop and update HDD construction schedules using P6 or MS Project, coordinating with engineering and procurement departments to ensure accurate progress tracking.
• Resolve technical issues that arise during HDD construction and provide effective resolution plans to the HDD construction manager.
• Proactively anticipate and address technical challenges, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
• Manage subcontractors to ensure progress, quality, and compliance with HSE requirements.
• Monitor and report on the status of HDD construction activities, including construction equipment and manpower readiness, progress, and other relevant factors.
• Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly HDD EPC progress reports and present them to the project team.
• Coordinate with the Document Control Center (DCC) to upload and download all relevant HDD documents.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in AUTOCAD, Primavera 6, MS Project, and Microsoft Office software.

Requirements

Skills and Experience Required:

• A university degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in HDD construction or engineering within the oil and gas industry.
• Proficiency in AUTOCAD, Primavera 6, MS Project, and Microsoft Office software.
• Excellent adaptability to cross-cultural work environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Good health and the capability to work in remote project areas.
• Demonstrated team cooperation spirit.
