We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer with a strong background in road construction projects for One of our esteemed client in Oman. The ideal candidate should have at least 7 years of relevant experience in the field of civil engineering, particularly with a focus on road infrastructure development. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing road construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring their successful delivery within the established budget and timeline.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage road construction projects, including planning, designing, and execution phases.
2. Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and technical assessments to determine project viability and potential risks.
3. Prepare detailed engineering designs, specifications, and construction plans for road development projects.
4. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including government authorities, contractors, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to regulations.
5. Manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and make cost-effective decisions to optimize project outcomes.
6. Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the construction process.
7. Supervise and provide technical guidance to project teams, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and timely completion of tasks.
8. Perform regular inspections and assessments to monitor project progress and identify and address any issues or delays promptly.
9. Prepare progress reports, project updates, and presentations for clients and senior management.
10. Keep abreast of industry trends, advancements, and best practices in road construction and civil engineering.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering, with a specific focus on road construction projects.
3. Proven track record of successfully delivering road construction projects within budget and schedule.
4. In-depth knowledge of road engineering principles, materials, and construction techniques.
5. Familiarity with relevant software tools for engineering design and project management.
6. Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
8. A high level of attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and safety.
9. Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or relevant certifications would be advantageous.

Preferred Location: The preferred location for this position is Oman. Candidates already based in Oman or those with prior experience working on road construction projects in Oman will be given priority.
