SENIOR PLANNER (NO1) ON SITE

Lead Planner (no1 on site) – Qatar Design & Build Project , FIDIC , 500 Million QAR within the Airport environment.

The challenging aspects come from design interfaces, a demanding client, multiple stakeholder, protecting claims & EOT’s, access & passes on site.

With a 14 Month program and a 500 Million spend. This has LEAN design and includes elements of structural steel, pre cast concrete, modular pods , utilities diversions & significant earthworks in a tight logistical space with more cranes than you would expect!

You will be working closely alongside the Project Director for this project with a dotted line into a Regional Planning Director

You will be the no1 planner on site and will be expected to manage and produce the program. This is not the role for someone seeking a large team looking to delegate work. You must be able to demonstrate exceptional communication skills through the recruitment process.

Requirements

What we expect :

• Currently based in Qatar
• Clear strength as a Lead Planner / Planning Manager on Building Projects for reputable Main Contractors on 400 Million QAR + Projects
• Engage with NSR Associates with the right communication skills throughout the entire hiring process

What the client expects:

• 7 Years Minimum as a No1 Planner / 2 Successful Projects from start to finish in Qatar ( Leading the team, program & correspondence)
• Must be degree Educated
• Qatar essentials = UPDA / MMUP Grade A
• Have a Qatari Driving License
• Understand its a 6 day working week based on site
• You have the confidence and client facing skills to protect the contract against any potential claims. Are you sharp and able to see the speed bumps and angle before they hit your desk & e-mail
