Summary:

The Junior Technician – Pool is responsible for assisting in the maintenance, repair, and operation of the pool facilities within a hospitality establishment. This role requires a strong attention to detail, technical skills, and a customer service-oriented attitude to ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable pool experience for guests.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience working on pool and jacuzzi systems, water treatment and heating. Females preferable.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality environment, is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of pool maintenance, water chemistry, and equipment operation is desirable.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to handle and work with pool chemicals safely and effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and lift heavy equipment.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification or willingness to obtain it is advantageous.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Lift and carry heavy equipment and supply as required.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
