The Delivery Management Director is responsible for leading the delivery of development projects on time, quality and budget.

Our client is a real estate/development company focusing on large scale projects in the hospitality, culture & tourism space within KSA.

Description

• Oversee the overall management of contractors and maintain responsibility for ensuring projects are completed as per the budget, schedule and quality standards and all contractual requirements are met
• Lead the review process for the initial high-level plan and budget developed during the feasibility phase and check it against PMCs’ project schedules and budgets
• Lead the performance monitoring review of PMCs, and attend meetings/on-site visits to verify the construction status
• Lead the process for identifying budget and schedule deviations, issues, and risks to ultimately assess the impact, define action plans, and seek appropriate approvals
• Ensure effective coordination with the Procurement department to ensure that all contracts required to complete the project stream are in place
• Review MEP, Civil, Structural, and Infrastructure designs for all assets and projects, ensuring that they meet the project vision, adhere to local regulations and applicable standards, and meet sustainability targets
• Oversee the development of Health & Safety policies, procedures and controls covering project delivery and project operations
• Oversee the development of environmental and sustainability standards to be adhered to by the project
• Lead the operations of the department, participate in establishing a clear direction for others, and champion alignment and collaboration amongst them and any other key stakeholders
• Develop the department’s annual budget, including all financial and staff requirements and monitor / control budget expenditure accordingly
• Develop and maintain the department’s guidelines, policies and processes and champion their implementation across, where applicable

Requirements

• 14-15 years of experience in total with a minimum of 6 years experience in project delivery or a similar field
• At least 5 years of managerial experience
