NEOM Project Summary: We will provide executive project management consultancy services (including technical, commercial, and construction management) for the development of certain defined aspects of the NEOM Infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

NEOM is a planned cross-border city in the Tabuk Province of northwestern Saudi Arabia. The site is near the Red Sea and the borders of Egypt, Israel, and Jordan. It will cover a total area of 26,500 km2 (10,200 sq. mi) and will extend 460 km along the coast of the Red Sea.

NEOM will be the home and workplace to more than a million residents from around the world. It will include towns and cities, ports and enterprise zones, research centers, sports and entertainment venues, and tourist destinations. As a hub for innovation, entrepreneurs, business leaders, and companies will come to research, incubate, and commercialize new technologies and enterprises in groundbreaking ways.

Detailed Job Description Summary:

The Project BIM Specialist is responsible for supporting the implementing of the BIM 360 collaboration environment on the project and support the work processes for the design reviews and BIM compliance of models and drawings from the consultants and contractors. The Project BIM Specialist responsibilities include the setup and maintenance of other systems that support the project CAD and BIM Execution Plans, Model Interface Management, Issues Management, 4D (schedule) and 5D (quantities) and other BIM use cases.

Requirements

Qualifications/Experience Essential Technical Skills:

– Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management with minimum 5 years of experience in Highway, Rail Design/Construction projects and with minimum 3 years’ experience as a BIM/CAD Specialist in design and construction.

– Proficiency in Civil3D together with AutoCAD, Revit.

– Industry BIM Certification (preferred).

– Must have working knowledge of Autodesk and Bentley 3D/BIM authoring Platforms including features, functions, and limitations.

– Working knowledge and proficiency with the following: Collaboration and data management solutions: BIM 360 Suite, Navisworks, 3D/BIM-enabled quantity takeoff and BIM-enabled estimating tools (Assemble, CostX, etc)

– Understanding of project work processes from design, estimation, construction administration and coordination.

– Proficient in English oral and written communications skills.

– Collaborates well in a team environment

– Ability to manage priorities and take on additional evolving responsibilities.
