Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Planning Engineer to join our award-winning team based in Doha, Qatar . This critical role will be responsible for ensuring project delivery in line with client requirements through the development of a project wide WBS. Duties will also include developing and maintaining a detailed master schedule, procurement and logistics plan and also to support and work with consultants and contractors to develop their contractual schedules.

 

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include;

– Understanding of technical and design leadership in all aspects of the design process including production, construction techniques, procedures, codes and standards etc that relate to Civil / Planning Engineering.

– Bringing team leadership skills as well as the ability to communicate directly with clients, consultants, agencies, local authorities, the design review team and other Our staff.

– Understanding of local building codes in country, alongside International Building Codes, LEED requirements and other similar sustainability standards among others.

– Preparing and managing a project program, project plan, and schedule

– Identifying and assessing project risks and mitigating these

– Working alongside the team to prepare project procedural plans.

Qualifications

– To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum 15 years of broad-based relevant experience in a planning/scheduling role for PM/CM projects, 5 years as a senior staff member. Possessing a Degree in Engineering / Construction Management. Membership with a recognized professional body & UPDA/MME License.
