Employment: Full Time

Preparation of electrical engineering drawings to the required industry standards. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to undertake other functions related to the preparation of the Bill of Materials, document control, document archiving and maintenance of document register for engineering projects.

• Delivery of electrical drawings as per project requirements – mainly, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Termination Drawings and General Arrangement Drawings (GA).
• Preparation and updating Cable Lists throughout project.
• Preparation of Red-Line markups after installations
• Create concept Single Line Diagrams for new scopes to be clarified with clients
• Preparation of Bill of Material lists (BOM’s) for tender evaluations and checking to ensure scope is in accordance with drawings produced and vice versa.
• Prepare documentation packs including project descriptions, drawings, cable lists, material documentation

Requirements

Essential

• Drafting degree or Engineering Diploma, Electrical specialization
• Proficient in AutoCAD – 2D
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of Electrical Engineering and common / best practices.
• Understanding of IEC standards

Desirable

• Min. 3-5 years experience in Marine & Offshore/Shipyard
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor 3D / AVEVA
• Understanding of hazardous areas on Drilling Rigs
• Understanding of IEC standards
