Job Description

Employment: Full Time

  • The Marine Telecom Technician will be responsible for providing technical support and services related to marine telecom systems.
  • This includes installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of marine telecom systems on board vessels.
  • The technician will also provide training and guidance to crew members on the use of the systems.

Requirements

 

  • Vessel Traffic System basic experienced;
  • Marine Radar experienced installation and maintenance;
  • Meteorology and Oceanography sensor basic experienced in installation and maintenance;
  • CCTV IP Camera installation and troubleshooting;
  • WLAN AP configuration, basic IP addressing.
  • VHF base station marine radio programming installation and troubleshooting;
  • Handheld VHF radio programming;
  • Voice recorders basic experienced;
  • UTP and Coaxial cable termination;
  • Basic knowledge of telecom testing equipment.
