We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Gastroenterologist to join our healthcare client in Oman

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and consultations to diagnose and treat patients with gastrointestinal conditions.
• Perform endoscopic procedures, such as colonoscopy, gastroscopy, and sigmoidoscopy, to diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders.
• Interpret and analyze test results, including imaging studies, laboratory tests, and biopsies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific conditions, medical histories, and lifestyle factors.
• Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, and interventions to alleviate symptoms and manage gastrointestinal diseases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, radiologists, and oncologists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures to promote optimal digestive health.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in gastroenterology research, technologies, and treatment modalities.
• Ensure compliance with medical ethics, patient confidentiality, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in professional development activities, such as conferences and continuing medical education, to enhance knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MBBS or MD) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a residency program in Internal Medicine.
• Fellowship training in Gastroenterology from a recognized institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
• Valid medical license to practice as a Gastroenterologist.
• Proven experience in diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal disorders.
• Proficiency in performing endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy, gastroscopy, and sigmoidoscopy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Empathy and compassion for patients dealing with gastrointestinal conditions.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and staying updated with advancements in the field.
