Job Description
· Conduct Ultrasound Examinations: Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures for various body parts, including abdomen, pelvis, obstetrics, gynecology, and vascular studies.
· Patient Interaction: Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort.
· Image Quality: Ensure that all images are of high diagnostic quality by selecting appropriate settings, using advanced techniques, and making necessary adjustments during the examination.
· Documentation and Reporting: Document patient information, examination details, and findings accurately. Provide preliminary findings to the radiologist and assist in preparing reports.
· Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is in proper working order and adhering to safety protocols.
· Compliance: Adhere to all hospital or clinic policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Ensure compliance with local health regulations and standards.
· Collaboration: Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient results and develop treatment plans.
· Continuous Learning: Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques. Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
