Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Security Implementation: Deploy and configure network security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs to protect against unauthorized access and attacks.
- Threat Detection: Monitor network traffic and security alerts to identify and respond to potential threats and vulnerabilities in real-time.
- Incident Response: Assist in the investigation and resolution of network security incidents, including analyzing attack vectors, mitigating risks, and documenting incidents.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular network vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses and recommend effective remediation measures.
- Security Policy Enforcement: Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of network security configurations, changes, and incidents, and prepare reports for management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT and security teams to integrate network security measures into the overall IT infrastructure and ensure cohesive security practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve security measures and practices.
