Job Description

Job Purpose
To manage and support the Core Banking System (ICBS) and its related modules—particularly
ACH and RTGS—ensuring seamless operations, configuration, and enhancements in alignment
with business and regulatory requirements. The role involves maintaining application integrity,
coordinating upgrades, implementing change requests, and providing technical and functional
support to ensure uninterrupted banking operations.

Key Tasks and Duties
1. Core Banking System Administration
 Configure and manage modules within the core banking system (ICBS).
 Implement system parameters, user roles, and configurations for ACH and RTGS.
 Perform regular system health checks, manage patches, and coordinate upgrades with
vendors.
2. Issue Resolution & Support
 Provide second and third-level support for ICBS, ACH, and RTGS platforms.
 Troubleshoot application and integration issues with internal teams and vendors.
 Ensure system stability and timely resolution of production incidents.
3. Business Analysis & Change Management
 Gather business and operational requirements for core banking and payment systems.
 Translate requirements into system enhancements and functional specifications.
 Prepare BRDs and support UAT, implementation, and deployment activities.
4. Compliance and Audit Readiness
 Ensure system configurations and operations comply with Central Bank and regulatory
standards.
 Maintain audit trails, access documentation, and change records.
 Support audits through timely provision of reports and system data.

5. Integration and Interface Management
 Monitor and support interfaces between ICBS and systems such as ACH, RTGS, e
banking, ATMs, CRM, AML, MIS, and reporting platforms.
 Ensure data accuracy and real-time information flow.
 Troubleshoot and resolve interface-related issues.
6. Vendor Coordination
 Coordinate with vendors for patch deployment, issue resolution, and upgrades.
 Monitor SLAs and escalate critical issues to ensure service continuity.
7. Documentation and Knowledge Management
 Maintain updated technical and functional documentation for all related modules.
 Develop and manage a knowledge base for recurring issues and resolutions.
 Support internal capability building and peer training.

Qualification
 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Banking Technology.
