Scaffolding Supervisor

Job Purpose:
The Scaffolding Supervisor will oversee all scaffolding activities on infrastructure and
construction projects in Oman. The role requires strong technical knowledge of
scaffolding systems, compliance with HSE standards, and proven leadership in
managing scaffolders in multi-national workforces.

Key Responsibilities:
 Supervise erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures in line
with HSE regulations.
 Ensure compliance with international standards (OSHA, BS EN 12811, ISO)
 Conduct site inspections and prepare scaffolding checklists for client approval.
 Prepare load-bearing calculations and verify safe working loads of platforms.
 Coordinate with site engineers and HSE officers to plan scaffolding requirements
for infra works (bridges, highways, metro, airports, utilities, or oil & gas facilities).
 Maintain scaffolding registers, daily progress reports, and safety audit logs.
 Supervise and train scaffolding teams (multi-national workforce including Indian,
Bangladeshi, Nepali, and Omani scaffolders).

Qualifications & Certifications:
 Diploma / Technical Certificate in Civil or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
