Job Description

Job Purpose
The IT Support Services professional will be responsible for managing and maintaining IT
infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of systems, networks, and applications onsite. The
role demands deep technical expertise and the ability to provide robust support in a critical
environment.

Key Tasks and Duties
 Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (2021, 2016, 2012)
 Manage HP/Dell servers (e.g., HP ProLiant DL380) including setup, configuration, and
troubleshooting
 Configure and monitor firewall systems (Sophos, SonicWALL) and VPN connectivity
 Implement and manage virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V
 Maintain and troubleshoot storage systems (QNAP, Buffalo)
 Handle data backup solutions using Veritas NetBackup and VEEAM
 Support and administer telephony systems like Avaya IP Office
 Ensure disaster recovery protocols and clustering are in place and tested
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT operations in an oil & gas environment
 Provide technical leadership and communicate effectively with stakeholders

Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
