Cyber Security Manager

Job Purpose
The Cyber Security Manager will be responsible for enhancing current security procedures
within the organization. The engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and
managing security procedures for products and its internal matters.

Key Tasks and Duties
Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures
 Design and implement security policies and standards for employees to follow.
 Ensure solutions implemented by different teams in the organization adhere appropriate
security standards whether it is by performing VAPTs, security audits or threat modeling.
 Implement and manage security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention
systems, and endpoint security systems.
 Implement and enforce secure server configurations, including hardening measures,
regular patching, and continuous monitoring to prevent misconfigurations and security
breaches.
 Identify and recommend tools to improve security within the development process.
Team Leadership and Continuous Improvement
 Collaborate with different departments to ensure their compliance with security
standards.
 Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.
 Provide security training and awareness to employees. 3. Stakeholder Communication
 Communicate with stakeholders about the status of security procedures, potential risks,
and security issues.
 Collaborate with project managers and software development teams to integrate security
into their development processes.

 Provide feedback and recommendations for improving security processes for different
functions and departments.

Qualification
 Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a
related field.
 Industry certifications such as Offensive Security certificates, GIAC/ SANS certificates,
CEH, CISSP or equivalent.
