Job Description

The Business Analyst will be responsible for managing end-to-end business analysis for change requests, acting as a liaison between business and IT teams, and ensuring business requirements are clearly defined, documented, and aligned with organizational objectives. The role involves facilitating communication across stakeholders, supporting agile delivery, preparing testing strategies, and ensuring effective change management in alignment with banking processes.

  • Manage and oversee business analysis for all change requests.
  • Analyze, define, and document business requirements with sufficient detail for development.
  • Translate business requirements into coherent, usable technology requirements.
  • Elicit requirements using workshops, document analysis, surveys, process descriptions, use cases, and workflow analysis.
  • Evaluate business processes, anticipate needs, identify improvements, and propose solutions.
  • Prepare detailed Business Requirement Documents and conduct feasibility/impact analysis of change requests.
  • Act as liaison between business users and technical teams during analysis, design, configuration, testing, and support phases.
  • Coordinate with Scrum Master to align user stories into sprint plans.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to share findings and recommendations.
  • Develop user stories ensuring specifications and functional design are captured.
  • Prepare testing strategy documents and test cases/scenarios for UAT, sanity, regression, and pilot testing.
  • Coordinate UAT activities with business users and ensure timely execution and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with Information Security, Internal Controls, Compliance, and Legal requirements in digital initiatives.
  • Prepare training materials and coordinate with training teams for effective end-user enablement.
  • Assist operations, branches, and business teams with product-related functional queries.
  • Provide MIS reporting to business heads.
  • Support migration of changes to production and finalize documentation.
  • Adhere to bank policies, manage own workload, and undertake any tasks assigned by management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent years of experience).
  • Agile or Scrum certification preferred (CSM, CSP, CSPO, PSPO).
