Job Description

Job Purpose
Responsible for the design, development, configuration and support for Bank’s API
Management platform in liaison with business stakeholders and various IT teams

Key Tasks and Duties
 Design, develop, configure, and support the Bank’s API Management platform using IBM API
Connect and IBM DataPower.
 Publish APIs as API products in compliance with bank standards, security, and regulatory
guidelines.
 Provide technical support to institutional clients and fintechs during onboarding and API
consumption.
 Support projects involving APIs, including fixes, testing (UAT, performance, security), and
troubleshooting.
 Monitor supported systems and execute utilities for implementation support.
 Handle maintenance and emergency support outside business hours during implementations,
upgrades, or incidents.
 Participate in RCA analysis, escalate issues, and ensure timely resolution.
 Adhere to all team standards related to delivery, reviews, security, and incident/problem
management.
 Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering.

IBM API Connect – API & Integration solutions IBM DataPower – design and configuration of RESTful APIs, SOAP Web Services, Open API, and Open Banking standards. Strong Unix/Linux systems
