Scrum Master

The Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating and championing the Agile software
development process. This includes coaching and mentoring development teams, removing
impediments, and ensuring smooth operation of Agile practices and ceremonies to deliver
high-quality digital solutions.

•  Organize and facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews,
  retrospectives, sprint planning, and backlog refinement sessions.
•  Ensure meetings are positive, productive, time-boxed, and outcome-focused.
•  Collaborate with the Product Owner to manage and prioritize the product backlog.
•  Support user story estimation, forecasting, and sprint commitments.
•  Champion Agile standards, tools, and best practices across teams.
•  Coach teams on IT and corporate standards including security, quality, and architecture.
•  Identify and proactively remove impediments to team progress.
•  Provide transparent communication of progress, challenges, and risks to stakeholders.
•  Use feedback and delivery metrics to drive continuous improvement.
•  Foster collaboration, self-management, and effective communication within the team.
•  Represent the team in cross-team coordination activities (e.g., Scrum of Scrums).
•  Support use of Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Rally.
•  Experiment with new Agile practices and frameworks to enhance delivery outcomes.
•  Participate in Agile communities of practice and knowledge-sharing sessions.
•  Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
•  Agile, Scrum, or Project Management certification preferred (e.g., CSM, CSP, PMP, SAFe).
