Job Description

  • Lead the administration, upgrade, and lifecycle management of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)
    environments (R12.1.x & R12.2.x), including installations, patching, cloning, and migrations. Provide
    expert-level support for on-premises and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments while ensuring
    system stability, high availability, and compliance with best practices.
  • Install, upgrade, patch, and clone Oracle EBS R12.1.x and R12.2.x in both single-node and
    multi-node architectures.
  •  Manage full lifecycle upgrades, including R12.1.x to R12.2.x and related database upgrades
    (11g → 12c/19c).
  •  Provide advanced troubleshooting and high-availability support for Oracle EBS environments.
  •  Oversee patching, release management, and administration tasks for EBS applications.
  •  Manage Oracle EBS environments on OCI, including provisioning, migration (Lift and Shift),
    and lifecycle activities with Oracle EBS Cloud Manager.
  •  Administer Oracle EBS architecture components such as RAC, ASM, and WebLogic Server.
  •  Design and implement integrations between Oracle EBS and external applications (on
    premises and SaaS).
  •  Execute data migration strategies using tools such as FBDI, ADFDI, or Oracle Data Integrator.
  •  Conduct performance, functional, and UAT testing for upgraded or migrated systems.
  •  Prepare and maintain documentation (upgrade procedures, configurations, troubleshooting
    guides).
  •  Stay updated on Oracle EBS releases, patches, and best practices, and apply improvements
    proactively.
  •  Provide mentorship and training on Oracle EBS administration and OCI best practices.
  •  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  •  Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, OCI certifications) preferred.
  •  10-15 years of proven experience as an Oracle EBS Apps DBA or Technical Lead with a
    strong focus on installation, upgrade, and support of EBS Release 12.1.x and 12.2.x.
  •  At least one full lifecycle Oracle EBS R12.1.x to R12.2.x upgrade project, including database
    upgrades.
  •  Strong hands-on expertise with Oracle EBS on OCI and EBS Cloud Manager.
  •  Deep experience in Oracle Database administration (RAC, ASM, patching, cloning,
    performance tuning).
  •  Solid knowledge of WebLogic Server and Fusion Middleware components.
