Job Description

As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth, maximizing revenue opportunities, and managing key commercial relationships across the organization. You will develop and implement commercial strategies, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure alignment between product, sales, marketing, and customer-facing functions to achieve the company’s long-term
commercial objectives.

  • Lead the development and execution of the company’s commercial strategy to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Oversee the planning, budgeting, and forecasting of commercial activities to ensure alignment with corporate financial goals.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to support business expansion and market penetration.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define business objectives and align commercial strategies with broader company goals.
  • Lead and manage commercial teams across multiple functions, including sales, marketing, pre-sales, and customer success, to ensure seamless operations and delivery of results.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Work closely with product and operations teams to identify market opportunities and drive product or service enhancements that meet customer demands.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation, optimizing processes, and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities for commercial teams to drive performance, engagement, and talent retention.
  • Represent the company in negotiations, high-level meetings, and key industry events to enhance the organisation’s commercial reputation.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial strategy, business development, and sales management across various channels (B2B, B2C, or both).

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
