Specialist – Sales Execution

Job Description

  • To effectively sell company products and services related to exports, imports, and cross trades
    in Oman and Bahrain markets, following established processes and budget guidelines. This role
    also supports sales performance optimization, client engagement, and reporting activities
    aligned with organizational goals.
  •  Handle export and import sales in line with mandated processes and budgets.
  •  Manage cross trade sales for clients based or controlled in Oman.
  •  Maintain and update Sales Force and other sales/client management tools as per policies.
  •  Regularly report sales performance, lost sales, and opportunities to country management.
  •  Prepare, moderate, and follow up on Area Performance Management Calls.
  •  Recommend and implement actions to improve performance and bottom-line results.
  •  Support Area Sales to meet or exceed volume and contribution targets.
  •  Drive improvement in Area Sales processes and efficiency.
  •  Assist in developing strategic target tender accounts.
  •  Promote and support usage of Sales Force tool.
  •  Ensure accurate and professional handling of daily sales transactions.
  •  Coordinate closely with Sales Coordination and Sales Steering for opportunity optimization.
  •  Collaborate with Customer Service for quality service delivery across client segments.
  •  Work with Business Administration and Customer Service for invoicing accuracy and timely
    collections.
  •  Enhance e-business usage in Oman.
  •  Validate Oman tariffs during quotations and report discrepancies to responsible desks.
  •  Support maintenance of ICCL and control reports accuracy for the country.
  •  Assist Sales Steering with weekly volume forecast planning and coordination.
  •  Perform additional tasks as required by supervising desk.
  •   Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Maritime Studies, or related field (preferred).
  •  Minimum 5 years of experience in the liner shipping industry.
  •  Hands-on experience with Freight Information Systems (FIS).
