CRM Technology Architect

Job Description

Job Purpose
The CRM Technology Architect is responsible for designing, leading, and governing the
technical architecture of enterprise-wide CRM implementations. This role ensures high
availability, scalability, integration, and security of CRM platforms aligned with banking business
needs and IT strategy. The architect will drive architecture principles, infrastructure planning,
and solution quality assurance across all CRM domains and lifecycle stages.

Key Tasks and Duties
 Architecture Design & Documentation:
 Deliver comprehensive solution design documents, including gap-fit analysis, logical &
physical architecture, integration strategy, and infrastructure blueprint.
 Define the Banking Data Model, Unified Service Desktop design, and multi-geography,
internet-facing deployment structures.
 CRM Technical Strategy & Implementation:
 Architect and guide CRM platform implementations and upgrades, ensuring full
lifecycle support from analysis to post go-live.
 Define technical requirements, covering performance, availability, scalability,
maintainability, and observability.
 Integration & Data Engineering:
 Architect and oversee real-time integrations, event streaming, and data migration
processes across CRM and other banking systems.

 Stakeholder Engagement & Governance:
 Engage with senior business and IT stakeholders to understand goals and ensure
architectural alignment.
 Collaborate with CRM SI partners, solution architects, delivery leads, and SMEs for
architectural reviews and adherence to defined principles.
 Infrastructure & Deployment Planning:
 Perform hardware/network sizing, capacity planning, and determine staging
environments (Development, Test, Training, Production, etc.).
 Support deployment strategies, disaster recovery plans, and operational architecture.
 Security & Compliance:
 Conduct information security risk assessments and define security controls to meet
internal policies and regulatory obligations.
 Performance Engineering:
 Lead performance modeling, forecasting, testing, and tuning activities.
 Review and sign off on performance test plans and results to ensure scalability and
responsiveness.
 Production Readiness & Support Architecture:
 Work with production support units to ensure CRM environments are stable, backed up,
and compliant with SLA expectations.

Qualification
 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
 TOGAF, Salesforce/Microsoft Dynamics certifications, or equivalent architecture credentials
are preferred.
