Planning Engineer

Job Description

The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project plans
and schedules for oil and gas facility projects. The role involves close collaboration with
engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure timely execution, progress reporting,
and mitigation of schedule delays.

  • Build overall plans and schedules for the execution phase of projects.
  •  Provide detailed plans and schedules for ad-hoc construction service requests and integrated
    projects.
  •  Prepare, update, and report on work activity progress, including bi-weekly and monthly
    submissions.
  •  Ensure accurate data entry in Primavera P6 and SAP for engineering, construction, and CSU
    planning.
  •  Collaborate with Engineering & Operations Planning departments for integrated planning and
    reporting.
  •  Support resource optimisation and prioritisation in coordination with Project Engineers and
    Construction Coordinators.
  •  Issue early warnings of plan delays and recommend mitigation measures.
  •  Assist Project Engineers with job preparation and related planning requirements.
  • Strong exposure to off-plot construction activities such as:
    • Above-ground pipelines
    • Underground pipelines
    • GRE / non-metallic pipelines
    • Piping works
    • Overhead line construction
    • Well pad construction
    • Proficiency in Primavera P6 planning software.
    • Experience with SAP for daily service entry and project tracking.

Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, or related discipline).
