]]> We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior QA Engineer with a strong background in both manual and automation testing, and domain expertise in oil and gas or oilfield services. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of enterprise-grade applications that support upstream oilfield workflows, data management, and analytics. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in functional, regression, and performance testing, and comfortable working in complex technical and domain environments

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and DevOps engineers to understand product requirements, architecture, and deployment models.
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases covering functional, regression, integration, and performance scenarios.
  • Perform manual exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues, especially in early development cycles.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Selenium for UI and API testing.
  • Conduct performance and stress testing using tools like JMeter and analyze bottlenecks and scalability issues.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance.
  • Create and maintain clear documentation on test coverage, test execution results, and quality metrics.
  • Report and track software defects with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis.
  • Verify data integrity and accuracy by writing and executing SQL queries against relational databases.
  • Contribute to defining quality standards and driving best practices in testing and automation across teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
