Key Tasks and Duties
1. Power BI Development & Reporting:
 Design, develop, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI for
banking analytics.
 Implement data modeling, DAX calculations, and Power Query transformations for
efficient reporting.
 Ensure that reports are visually impactful, user-friendly, and aligned with UI/UX best
practices.
2. Data Management & SQL Processing:
 Develop and optimize T-SQL queries and stored procedures to extract and process
banking data.
 Work with on-premise SQL Server databases to create structured data models for
reporting.
 Ensure data integrity, security, and accuracy in reports and dashboards.

3. Performance Optimization & Security:
 Monitor report performance and refresh schedules, troubleshooting any latency
issues.
 Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and access control on Power BI Report
Server.
 Optimize Power BI data models for faster load times and efficient processing.
4. Business & Banking Analytics Integration:
 Collaborate with BIU team leads to refine reporting requirements based on banking
operations and financial metrics.
 Work with financial and transactional data to ensure accurate reporting for decision
making.
 Provide insights to stakeholders by leveraging data visualization techniques.

Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a
related field.
 Experience with SAS for financial data processing.
 Hands-on experience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) for paginated reports.
 Familiarity with big data processing and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines.
Experience
 5+ years of experience in Power BI dashboard development with on-premise Power BI
Report Server.
 Extensive banking domain experience, working with financial and transactional data.
 Hands-on experience with on-premise SQL Server databases for structured data processing.
 Experience in developing paginated reports using SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
is preferred.
 Experience with SAS-based data processing is an added advantage.

Key Tasks and Duties
1. Power BI Development & Dashboard Reporting:
 Design, develop, and optimize Power BI dashboards that visualize complex financial
and banking data.
 Work with on-premise Power BI Report Server to publish, maintain, and update
reports.
 Apply UI/UX best practices to develop intuitive, user-friendly dashboards for business
users.
 Implement advanced DAX calculations, Power Query transformations, and data
blending techniques.
2. Data Engineering & SQL-based ETL Pipelines:
 Develop SQL-based ETL pipelines to process and structure data for Power BI
reporting.

 Write and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies for
performance tuning.
 Design and maintain efficient data models (star schema, snowflake schema) for
structured reporting.
 Work with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to build, monitor, and manage
ETL workflows.
 Automate data refresh processes and ensure seamless integration of data pipelines
with Power BI.
3. Data Security & Governance:
 Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and role-based access control in Power BI.
 Ensure adherence to data governance policies, security standards, and compliance
regulations in banking analytics.
 Monitor report refresh schedules and troubleshoot data processing errors.
4. Business & Banking Analytics Alignment:
 Work closely with BIU team leads to align Power BI reports with business and banking
operational needs.
 Ensure that financial and transactional data is accurately represented in reports for
decision-making.
 Collaborate with stakeholders to refine reporting requirements and enhance
analytical capabilities.
5. Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting:
 Optimize Power BI report performance to reduce load times and enhance
responsiveness.
 Conduct root cause analysis and debugging of report failures or incorrect data
aggregations.
 Continuously improve dashboard interactivity, responsiveness, and usability.

Qualification
 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or a
related field.
 Certifications in Power BI, SQL Server, or Data Engineering (preferred).
 Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for ETL workflows.
 Familiarity with SAS for financial data processing.
 Understanding of SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) for paginated reports.
