                    <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Job Purpose</strong><br />
The QC Inspector – Painting is responsible for inspecting and ensuring the quality of all<br />
coating and painting activities related to Oil &amp; Gas structures, piping, equipment, tanks,<br />
and offshore modules, in accordance with project specifications, NACE/SSPC standards,<br />
and Oil &amp; Gas HSE protocols. The role includes monitoring surface preparation, verifying<br />
coating systems, and ensuring compliance with anti-corrosion protection plans critical for Oil &amp;<br />
Gas assets.<br />
Key Tasks and Duties<br />
 Conduct coating and painting inspections on structural steel, pressure vessels, pipe<br />
spools, skids, offshore jackets, risers, and storage tanks in accordance with Oil &amp; Gas<br />
project specifications.<br />
 Verify surface preparation quality, including grit blasting, power tool cleaning, and<br />
solvent cleaning as per SSPC-SP10, SP1, or ISO 8501-1.<br />
 Oversee the application of multi-coat systems (epoxy, polyurethane, zinc-rich primers,<br />
fireproofing, or thermal insulation coatings) and verify conformance to client-approved<br />
paint specifications (e.g., PDO, ADNOC, ARAMCO).<br />
 Perform tests such as Dry Film Thickness (DFT), adhesion pull-off tests, holiday<br />
(spark) testing, solvent rub, and cure checks.<br />
 Identify and document non-conformances (e.g., undercoating, overspray, pinholes,<br />
sagging) and issue corrective actions.<br />
 Review and interpret coating procedures, isometrics, P&amp;IDs, painting system<br />
datasheets, and technical standards.<br />
 Ensure compliance with HSE regulations related to volatile organic compounds (VOCs),<br />
confined space entry, PPE usage, and ventilation.<br />
 Conduct inspections at all stages—pre-blast, post-blast, intermediate coats, final finish<br />
coat, and touch-up repairs.<br />
 Maintain QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, painting logbooks,<br />
DFT records, batch certifications, environmental condition records, and NCRs.<br />
<strong>Qualification</strong><br />
 Education: Diploma or Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Engineering, Material Science, or Corrosion<br />
Engineering.<br />
 Certification (Preferred):<br />
 NACE Coating Inspector Level 1 or 2<br />
 BGAS-CSWIP Certification<br />
 Equivalent Oil &amp; Gas-approved coating inspection certifications (e.g., ARAMCO CBT,<br />
ADNOC Coating Approval)</p>
